Funeral services for Cordelia N Bethke will be held at 11 AM at St Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Pastor Scott Williams will officiate. Interment will be in the Woodville Cemetery in Waseca. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church.
Cordelia Bethke passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at County Neighbors in New Richland. She was 96 years old.
Cordelia was born on March 15, 1917 in Freeborn County. The daughter of Chris and Nina (Hagen) Miller she lived in the Hartland and New Richland area all of her life. On February 25, 1940 she was united in marriage to Glen Bethke Sr. in Hartland. She enjoyed helping neighbors and working on the farm.
She was a member of St Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Richland and participated in Ladies Aide where she would help in any way. She liked to play cards, quilting at church, and spent some time making wedding cakes.
Cordelia is survived by her children, Glen (Patrica) Bethke of New Richland, Gayle (Richard) Rosenmayer of Michigan, and Joyce (Ronald) Stuepfert of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Todd, Dan, Lisa, Lori, Stacey, John, Aaron, Kassandra, Samuel, Breanna, and Alyssa; 8 great grandchildren; and other loving relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Glen; parents, Chris and Nina; daughter, Genelle Fadnes; and brothers, Kennard (Leona) and Milford Miller.
