Remembering the life of Conrad J. Paczkowski....
The Memorial Service for Conrad J. Paczkowski of Albert Lea, will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Bonnerup Funeral Service,Albert Lea. Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, and one hour before services.
Conrad died Monday, December 3, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital
in Rochester. He was 84. He was born on February 19, 1923, in New Richland, MN, the son of Matthew and Gertrude (Chicos) Paczkowski.
He attended St. Theodore's School.He had been active in CC Camp near the end of the Depression.
On August 11, 1943, he married Ann Sondrol at St. Theodore Cathlolic Church.To this union six children were born Don, Charles, Joseph, Jean, Robert, and James.
Conrad had worked at Wilson and Co. for 35 years as a electrician, retiring in the late 1970's.
Connie, as he was called, enjoyed woodworking, bricklaying and will be remembered for the ability to "do and fix" anything- an all around handi-man.
He and his brother had built many houses in the area. In his later years he had time to enjoy hunting, fishing, and camping. He especially enjoyed spending time with the "pride and joys" of his life, his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Ann of Albert Lea; four children: Charles (Adrienne) Paczkowski of Albert Lea, Joseph (Eva) Paczkowski of Mpls, MN, Jean (Steven) Weitzel of Kasson, MN, James (Gioia) Paczkowski of Colorado Springs, CO, daughter-in-law Bonnie Paczkowski of Mpls, MN, 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; sister Agnes (John) Capp of Austin, MN, brother Russell Paczkowski of Albert Lea, MN, sister Patricia (Peter) Bergland of Albert Lea, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Ruth Paczkowski and Joan Pacskowski of Albert Lea, Norma Schaumburg of Owatonna, MN, Charles (Jean) Sondrol of Story City, IA, Rev. Donald Sondrol, of Muscatine, IA and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Don and Robert; mother-in-law and father-in-law Selma and Clarence Sondrol, brothers Francis, Roger and two in infancy and also a sister in infancy.
