Clifford Reichl Jr

The Funeral Service for Clifford Stanley Reichl Jr., will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, September 13, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Clarks Grove. The Reverend Jamie Cameron will officiate. Interment will be in Clarks Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea, and one hour before the service at the church. He passed away on Wednesday, September 8, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester at the age of 67.

Stan, as he preferred to be called, was born on April 25, 1943, in Childress, Texas, to Clifford and Dorothy (Jensen) Reichl. He was raised on the family farm in Riceland Township. He attended country school until the seventh grade, then attended and graduated from Albert Lea High School. On November 10, 1963, he married Elizabeth Stumo at the Elk Creek Lutheran Church in Kensett, Iowa. They lived most of their married years in Albert Lea where they raised their two children, Trisha and Travis. Stan owned and operated Albert Lea Radiator and Cooling Systems along with his wife Liz and son Travis. Cars were a special part of Stan's life, not just in his business but as a hobby. He and Travis restored many classic cars and later enjoyed restoring golf carts for the grandkids to ride in. He also enjoyed deer and turkey hunting at the farm and partridge hunting up north Every fall, and teaching his grandchildren how to shoot B-B guns.His pride and joy were his children and each of his four grandchildren. He was a member of the Clarks Grove Baptist Church and was a supervisor on the Albert Lea Township Board. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Liz, children and families, Trisha and husband John Cyr and their children Cy and Victor of Fargo, ND, Travis Reichl his wife Angie Reichl and their children Rachel and Caden of Albert Lea, brother Gary Reichl and his wife Kathy of Glenville, brothers-in-law: Nelson Stumo and his wife ElNora of Goddell, IA, John Stumo and his wife Joan of Northwood, IA, Paul Stumo of Clear Lake, IA, sisters-in-law Judy Lee and her husband Mike of Northwood, IA, Marie and her husband Jack Ruiter of Northwood, IA. He was "Uncle Stan" to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Clifford (Sr.) and Dorothy Reichl, brother

Ron, sisters-in-law Marcy Reichl, Barb Reichl, Verna Stumo and brother-in-law Lowell Stumo. "The Shop" memories were special for Stan. He took pride in his service and thoroughly enjoyed joking, laughing and visiting with all his customers and friends throughout the years. The family would like to express their gratitude for all the loving care they have received at this difficult time.
