Memorial services for Charles Leroy Krueger of Albert Lea, MN, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 8, 2007 at the St John?s Lutheran Home Chapel. Pastor Jeff Laeger-Hagemeister will officiate. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
Mr. Krueger died Monday morning, December 3, 2007 at St John?s Lutheran Home. He was 68 years of age.
Charles was born June 1, 1939 in Buffalo Center, Iowa and attended public school in Fairmont, MN. For the past 30 years he has made his home in Albert Lea. He was united in marriage to Patricia Hendrickson on Nov 4, 1983 in North Dakota.
Charles had been employed by the Petran Farms and retired from the Streater Co. after 23 years of service. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
Charles had a love for automobiles and enjoyed working on, tinkering with and buying and selling many over his lifetime. He was a very kind and gentle man with a great sense of humor.
Charles is survived by his wife Patricia of Albert Lea, MN, children; David Krueger of Burnsville, MN, and Jill Krueger of Brighton, CO, there is one stepson Jay Brown and his children Nathan and Marcus living in Navajo, CA. One sister survives; Sharon Warner of Gulfport, FL, mother in law Dorothy Hendrickson of Albert Lea, MN, sister in law Shirley (Dave) Yokiel of Albert Lea, MN, and one nephew Rick (Cindy) Yokiel of Chanhassen, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, niece Lori Brua and brother in law Dean Warner.
