Memorial services for Carol Conley will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Hayward Lutheran Church in Hayward, MN. Reverend Joel Erickson will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea, MN and again one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Albert Lea.
Carol Marie Conley, age 75, of Hayward, Minnesota passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Mayo Hospital in Rochester, MN. Carol was born to Mae (Campbell) and LeBert Conley on February 3, 1940 at Naeve Hospital in Albert Lea, MN. She attended school at the Hayward Schoolhouse through 8th grade and graduated from Albert Lea High School. She's lived in Hayward and been a member at Hayward Lutheran Church her whole life.
Carol has worked at the Cargill Foods plant in Albert Lea as a shipping clerk for 53 years. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and doing arts and crafts with her husband Clark.
Those left to cherish Carol's memory include her husband, Clark Young of Hayward, MN; son, Mark Conley of Albert Lea, MN; grandchildren, Cally Conley of Albert Lea, MN, Ranier Conley of Austin, MN, and Logan Conley of Austin, MN; sisters, LaVonne Williams of Hayward, MN, Nadine Moller of Albert Lea, MN, and Bernice Ashpole of Cavalier, ND; and many nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, LeBert and Mae Conley; brother, Richard Conley; aunt, Hazel Campbell; brothers-in-law, Paul Williams, Rueben Moller, Roger Ashpole; and best friend, Shirley Olson.
