Bonnie Holey

Bonnie L. Holey (Reyerson) of Coon Valley WI passed away August 4, 2024, at the age of 82 years old. 

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Bonnerup Funeral Services; with a visitation beginning one hour prior to the service.

Bonnie was born May 28, 1942, in Grafton, Iowa to John Berding and Alberta (Everhart) Berding. Bonnie was one of fourteen children: Darlene, Herman “Bud”, Lavonne, Larry, Bonnie, Roy, Shirley, Benny, Beverly, Rainy, Roger, John “BD”, Dale, and Darrell “Butch”. Bonnie was the fifth oldest child and was “mother” to her younger siblings. 

Bonnie dearly loved her family and friends and enjoyed when they visited her at her home. She had an open-door policy and was always willing to help anyone in need. Bonnie retired from Trails Café as a waitress and never met a stranger. She especially loved talking with the young children who would come in with their parents. 

Bonnie married Harold Reyerson on April 17, 1960, and they raised their four children in Alden, Minnesota. Bonnie is survived by her children; Deanna Haught (Jim), Brian Reyerson (Ilda), Jerry Reyerson (Mary), Paul Reyerson (Susan); nine grandchildren, Robby Haught (Erin), Bill Haught, Erik Rodriguez, Phillip Martinez, Madison Reyerson, Emily Hassing (Matt), Michael Reyerson (Rachel), Brooke Reyerson, Abby Williams (Bailey); three great grandchildren, Cora Haught, Riley Hassing and Makenzie Hassing, as well as siblings: Lavonne Blackmer, Rainy Brackey, Roy Berding, Benny Berding, John “BD” and Darrell “Butch” Berding. 

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alberta Berding. Her husband, Arvid Holey, and siblings: Beverly “Bev” Calicchia, Darlene Adams, Shirley Berding, Dale Berding, Larry Berding, Herman “Bud” Berding, Roger Berding.
