Funeral services for Bobbie A. Hamilton will be held at 11 AM on Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Bonnerup Funeral Chapel, Albert Lea. Reverend Matt Hundley will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Bobbie passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Home. She was 74 years old.
Bobbie A. (Henry) Hamilton was born on September 21, 1940 to Robert and Beatrice (Cox) Henry in Caruthersville, MO. On April 18, 1955, she was united in marriage to Johnny H. Hamilton in Tupelo, MS. She lived in the Waterloo, IA, are most of her life, until settling in Albert Lea for the past eight years. In Albert Lea, she was currently a member of Vineyard Church. Bobbie liked to garden, go to garage sales, and taking drives around the countryside. Most of all, she enjoyed the time she spent with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny; daughter, Rhonda Hamilton; and siblings, Darla Jane Henry, and Dude Henry.
Bobbie is survived by her children, Johnny D. Hamilton of Tupelo, MS, Donna (Russ) Bjorklund, of Albert Lea, Trent Hamilton, of OR, and Bobby D. (Angie) Hamilton, of Blue Springs, MS; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Bobby (Jean) Mills, of Saltillo, MS, Ricky (Judy) Henry, of New Albany, MS, and Gaye Dunaway, of Saltillo, MS.
