Blake Allen Davis, age 34, died at his home on May 8, 2004, in Belle Plaine, MN.
Blake was born on December 6, 1969, to Robyn and Larry Davis, and resided in
Albert Lea until April 2003 when he moved to Belle Plaine.
Blake graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1988 where he participated in
Cross County, Tennis and Baseball. He attended Winona State University for 2 years.
Blake loved sports, fishing, meteorology, bonfires, and most especially, his
Rottweiler dog, Duke. His obsession was watching the Duke Blue Devils
basketball. His best friend and companion to the end was his dog Duke.
Most recently, Blake was a Certified Nursing Assistant and loved helping the
elderly and his chats with them. He truly had the "heart" for his work.
Blake was preceded in death by his grandfathers Harold Veiman and Delmar Davis and grandmother Phyllis Veiman.
His is survived by his parents, Robyn and Larry Davis, his brother Aaron Davis and wife Tacy, his aunt Lorna Wagner and husband Walter, his aunt Dawn Schuler, his uncle Brian Veiman and wife Cherie, his uncle Garry Bye, his grandmother Shirley Davis and many cousins.
Blake will be remembered for many things, but mostly for his compassion and big heart, his quick wit, sense of humor and his crooked grin. We loved him deeply and
he will always remain in our hearts. He is safe and at peace with no more struggling.
"Rest now Blake, we know you are finally in a good place and in good hands."
