Funeral Services for Blair J. Stadheim of Albert Lea, will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday
at East Freeborn Lutheran Church, rural Albert Lea. The Reverend Matthew Griggs will officiate. Interment will be in East Freeborn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 on Friday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea. Friends may visit with family one hour before the service at the church.
Blair died surrounded by his family, at his home, on Tuesday, February 14. He died as a result of complications from lung cancer at the age of 52.
Blair James Stadheim was born on June 3, 1964, to David and Marilyn Stadheim. He was #4 in a line of 6 siblings. He attended school and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1982.
Blair married Karen R. Enderson on February 22, 1997.
He started his working career at a very young age of 12 with the family business, Stadheim Sanitation. He worked there through graduation.
He held jobs at Interstate Meats, Waste Systems, T.S. Express, and many years with Sorenson Brothers Construction. He began his lineman career with Alliant Energy and then worked with U.L.C. until taking the Field Supervisor position with I.T.C. Midwest.
Blair enjoyed going to and supporting all sporting events with Morgan and working in the shop,
mechanic work with Walker. Camping with the family, family vacations at Leech Lake and raising his chickens and cattle at the acreage were favorite pastimes. Family time with Karen, Morgan, Walker and his whole extended family meant the most to him.
Blair is survived by his wife Karen, daughter Morgan and son Walker; parents David and Marilyn Stadheim, mother-in-law and father-in-law Roger and Shirley Enderson; brothers: Bryan (Angie) Stadheim, Bruce (Ruth) Stadheim, Blake (Lynn) Stadheim, Allan(Kris) Stadheim, and sister Amy Stadheim, brothers–in-law and sister-in-law: Mark Enderson, Steve Enderson, Susan (Oscar) Enderson and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and family friend Cherie Seuser (Morgan's mom).
