Beverly Hanna

In remembrance of Beverly Jane Hanna, on Saturday, March 7, from 2-4 p.m. , friends may gather to visit and share memories  with family at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea, Minnesota.

Beverly was born on August 22, 1948, in Akron, Iowa the daughter of Clifford and Mildred (Kluver) Boetger.  She met her soulmate Jimmie Hanna in LeMars, IA and they were married on January 9, 1965.  Throughout her life she had lived in Akron, IA, LeMars, IA, South Sioux City, NE, Emery, NE, Carroll, IA, Dodge Center/Claremont, MN, Waterville, MN and for the past 15 years in Albert Lea, MN. Beverly’s life centered on her children and grandchildren, and she loved the companionship of her dogs, Snickers and Bo.  Some of her favorite things included rummage sales, trips to Diamond Jo’s, crafting, bingo and sitting outside enjoying the sounds and sights of nature.

Bev will be greatly missed by her husband Jimmie, her children: Cory (Shari) Hanna of Waseca, MN, Lilly  (Tammy) Hanna of Atlanta, GA, Melody (Travis) Rager of Lakeville, MN; grandchildren: Brittani (Jeremy) Olds and their daughter Olivia of China Springs, TX, Corbin Hanna of Waseca, MN, Delaney and Tanaya Rager of Lakeville, MN; step grandchildren: Ethan, Austin and Bridget Brase of Waseca, MN , Cymara Hancock and son Elijah Foster, Lyric  and Tylus Hancock of Altanta, GA; brother Randy (Arlys) Boetger of Le Mars, IA, sisters: Bonnie Conner of LeMars, IA, Cathy (Darrell) Schulz of LeMars, IA, Carol Nelson of Prescott, AZ; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Darlene Trytten of Lake Mills, IA, Eugene (Caroline) Hanna of Forest City, IA, Donna R. Loge of Albert Lea and many nieces and nephews. Bev was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, Misty Jo, daughter-in-law Julie Roemhildt, her parents Clifford and Mildred Boetger and her mother-in-law and father-in-law Edwin and Lois Hanna.
