Beverly Bera

Memorial services for Beverly L. Bera of Albert Lea, MN, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel. Father Henry Doyle will officiate. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Beverly died Tuesday morning, January 30, 2018 at St Mark’s Lutheran Home in Austin, MN. She was 93 years of age. Beverly was born March 26, 1924 in St Paul, MN, the daughter of Samuel and Rhoda (Reeder) Kirkpatrick. She graduated from Albert Lea College and Business School in Chillicothe, MO. Beverly was united in marriage to Lewis Bera who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Albert Lea. Bev was a homemaker staying at home to care for her family and worked part time for a few years at the Holiday Inn in Albert Lea. She also volunteered at the Naeve Hospital in Albert Lea. Beverly is survived by her children Mathew (Vicki) Bera of Austin, MN, Steve (Enid) Bera of Riverside, CA, Mike Bera of St Charles, MN, Rose (John) Orser of Phoenix, AZ, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Lewis.
