Betty Lou Stender

Betty Lou Stender, age 76 of Albert Lea, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 19, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Betty was born in Fergus Falls on April 30, 1946 to Gordon and Doris Hill and later moved to Albert Lea with her family. In 1965 she married Clemence Stender with whom she had seven children, Cindy, James, Laura, Robin, Carmen, Dustin and Amanda. Among endless memories, Betty will be remembered for her love of all animals, music and bingo. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Gordon & Doris Hill; husband, Clemence Stender; daughter, Robin Stender & granddaughter Rachel Lenze. Left to celebrate her memory are her loving children, Cindy Jordhal, James (Judy) Stender, Laura Crawford, Carmen Uzlik, Dustin Stender, Amanda Stender; grandchildren, Kristine, Jeff, Bryan, Robin, “Little Brian”, Jessica, Ronnie, Zachery, Megan, Xavior, Michael, Jay, Cheyenne, Dakota, Trent; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Angelina, Rebecca, Remi, Kaelyn, Kendall, Peyton; siblings, Ruthann (Aldin) Grahn, Carol (Roy) Bremseth, Patsy (Dave) Ziebell, Connie (Darrell) Monson, Brenda (Randy) Dunford, Larry Hill; many other relatives, friends and her loving dog, Brownie. Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 at 2pm with visitation beginning one hour prior at Bonnerup Funeral Service.
