Memorial services for Betty Ann Hendrickson of Albert Lea, MN, will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, November 14, 2014 at St Theodore Catholic Church. Father Timothy T. Reker and Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Betty died Monday, November 10, 2014 at her home in Albert Lea. She was 81 years of age. Betty was born January 1, 1933 in Easton, MN, the daughter of Phillip and Gladys (Bolinger) Felber. She was a graduate of Albert Lea High School and the Austin Nursing Program. Betty was united in marriage to Keith J. Hendrickson in 1950 in Northwood, Iowa. Betty was employed for many years at the Albert Lea Medical Clinic and Naeve Hospital. She was also a nurse at ThorneCrest Retirement Center. After working a full shift nursing, Betty was the night and weekend attendant at Bonnerup Funeral Service for over 30 years. In her free time Betty enjoyed her grandkids and families, knitting, reading, travel and canning. She won many awards at the Freeborn County Fair for her projects. Betty was past president of the Albert Lea PTA and took many trips to Haiti working in the mission field. Betty is survived by her children Steven (Jeanne) Hendrickson of Albert Lea, MN, Catherine (special friend Mike Hansen) Hendrickson of Gillette, WY, grandchildren; Erik (Kelly) Hendrickson, Jamie (Andrea) Hendrickson, Stephanie Hanson, Megan (Ryan) Jensen, great grandchildren; Max, Sammy, Will, Noelani, Alexus, Harper, Erik, Danika and Jerzi. One very special friend; Sister Jetta of Rochester, MN, sisters Joyce Bjerkie, Doris (Gene) Frost, brothers Jim Felber, David (Bonita) Felber, Dick (Jean) Felber, many nieces and nephews, and her special family at Bonnerup Funeral Service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Keith, one brother Albert, and two sisters Jenny and Darlene. Special thanks to Cherie, Dawn and Hospice for all their tender loving care. True blessings to all she served and so deeply loved and cared for by her loving family. May God always be in our hearts.
