The memorial service for Barbara Elaine Hunley of the Thompson, Iowa and Lake Mills, Iowa area will be 1:30p.m. Friday at Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel, Albert Lea, Minnesota. The Reverend Curtis Zieske will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
Barbara died Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the Forest City Good Samaritan Center, Forest City, Iowa. She was 75 years old.
Barbara was born September 17, 1935 in Albert Lea, Minnesota to Robert S. and Minnie M. (Bock) Hanson. Barbara enjoyed dancing, bowling, softball, gambling, bingo and fishing. Barbara worked many years for the Boeing Company, Seattle, Washington.
Barbara is survived by brothers: Willis Hanson and his wife Barbara of Wisconsin, Mervin Hanson and his wife Joyce of Waseca, Minnesota, Adolph Hanson of Lake Mills, Iowa; sister: Maxine Narverud of Mason City, Iowa; many nieces and nephews
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Minnie Hanson; daughter: Diana Edwards; brothers: James Hanson and Ronald Hanson and Jerome Hanson, nephew: Eugene Hanson.
