Arlene was born on July 3, 1930, in Albert Lea, the daughter of Arthur and Bertha G. Roberts.
She had been a long time resident of Elm Homes in Albert Lea, and had also worked for Cedar Valley Services.
Arlene was a passionate bingo player and also enjoyed taking pictures of friends and family. She loved cats and she so appreciated that Elm staff shared their pets with her. Family was important to her and
she always made a special effort to keep in touch with them. Arlene died on Monday, December 10, 2007 at the Good Samaritan Center in Albert Lea.
Arlene is survived by her sister Margaret Clausen of Port Orchard, Washington nieces, nephews, her "Elm Home family" and dear friend Mary Dodds of Excelsior, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Lawrence and sisters Hazel and Irene.
