Funeral services for Arladeen Mae Dahl of Albert Lea, MN, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 29, 2014 at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea. Pastor Nancy Overgaard will officiate. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 4 until 7 PM at the Bonnerup Funeral Service and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Interment will be in the East Freeborn Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.
Arladeen died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Prairie Senior Cottages in Albert Lea. She was 82 years of age.
Arladeen was born December 30, 1931 in Freeborn County the daughter of Frank and Freida (Richter) Iverson. She graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1949. On March 9, 1949 she was united in marriage to Roger Dahl in Freeborn County. Together they made there home in Freeborn County for over 65 years.
Arladeen had been a member of Grace Lutheran Church for many years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed playing golf, making lefse, winters in Mission Texas and keeping busy with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Roger, children Kathy and her husband David Medd of Hollandale, MN, Mary and her husband Mark Christopherson of Mantorville, MN, grandchildren John (Roxanne) Medd, Laurie (Allan) Greibrok, Andene (Sean) O'Neil, Alexandra (Reid) Strelow and Peter (Katelyn) Christopherson. Great grandchildren include Katelyn, Braden, Logan, Tell, Gus, Blaze and Lincoln. One brother survives, Larry Phillips of Oak Park Heights, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter Paula.
