There will be visitation at Bonnerup and Sons funeral home in Ellendale from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept 3

Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept 4
th
, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church of Ellendale.
Angus, the son of John and Ada Lageson was born on December 14
th
, 1928, in Ellendale. He graduated from
Ellendale
High School
and was a proud member of the Football and Basketball teams.
In 1949 he was united in marriage to Betty Jean Edwardson.
Angus and Betty farmed in
Lemond
Township
until retirement.
Angus was also very handy and built many homes, buildings, cabinets and other projects in his love for carpentry.
He enjoyed many sports, but bowling was his passion. He had the honor of being in the last league activity at Fair Lanes bowl on a Monday morning where he rolled the final strike in league competition.
He had his biggest game ever rolling nine strikes in a row for a 271 game and 652 series.
Angus is survived by his wife Betty Jean.

wedding anniversary would have been September 4

, 2009. He is survived by 6 children, 4 daughters, Carol Ann (Al Shultz) of New Richland, Donna Jean (Gordon Hanson) of New Richland, Julie Kay (Adryn Peterson) of New Richland and Jean Ann (Steve Clausen) of St Louis Park;
2 sons, Larry Dean Lageson (and special friend Bonnie Nelson) of Owatonna,
and Steven Ray Lageson (Eva) of Apple Valley.
They had 15 grandchildren; Greg, Brian, Brett, and Kristin (Carol and Al);
Jenny
,
Chad
, and David (Donna and Gordon); Cody and Carly (Larry); Lacey, Bjorn, and Onika (Julie and Adryn); Dain and Adyn (Jean and Steve); and Karissa (Steve and Eva).
They have 10 great-grandchildren. Brothers;
Reuben Lageson (Dorothy) of
Brooklyn Park
, Gerald Lageson (Betty) of
Medford
, and Sister, Idella Hartle of
Owatonna
.
Brother-in-law Duane Edwardson (Mary) of Ellendale and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, John and Ada Lageson, oldest Brother Alvin Lageson (Helen) who was killed in WW2, and brother-in-law Jerome Hartle.
Angus was a loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather who will be deeply missed.
