Angela Marie Lenort, age 43, passed away Wednesday, September 24 in Rochester, MN. Funeral services for Angela M. Lenort will be 11 AM Monday, September 29, 2014 at the Emmons Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 4 -7 PM Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Reverend Christopher Martin will be officiating. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Emmons, MN.
Angela was born on August 9, 1971 to Hans and Judy (Sundve) Jensen. She has been a lifelong resident of Freeborn County and active member of the Emmons Lutheran Church. She graduated from Alden High School and went to Hutchinson Vocational Technical College for 2 years. During her career as a certified nursing assistant, she worked at Woodvale and St. John's Lutheran Home.
On June 6, 1998, Angela was united in marriage to Dunnell Lenort at the United Church of Christ in Freeborn, MN. Angela enjoyed country music and was in the Sawyer Brown Fan Club. She enjoyed candles, spending time with her cat Toby, staying active on Facebook, and spending cherished time with family.
Angela will be missed by her husband, Dunnell Lenort of Twin Lakes, MN; parents, Hans and Judy Jensen of Albert Lea, MN; parents-in-law, James and Jeanette Lenort of Walters, MN; brother, Randy (Ellen) Jensen of Freeborn, MN; brothers-in-law, Kerry (Tammy) Lenort of Marshall, MN, Galen (Kay) Lenort of Walters, MN; sister-in-law, Jackie Wilson of Waseca, MN; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Angela was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hilmer and Esther Jensen and Casper and Darlene Sundve; uncles, Ken Sundve, Ronald Sundve; and brother-in-law, Ken Wilson.
