Allan Jensen

Memorial services for Allan Paul Jensen will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea, MN. Pastor Jamie Cameron will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Clarks Grove Cemetery. Allan Paul Jensen was born to Merrill and Lily Jensen of Clarks Grove, MN, on October 2nd 1939 in Albert Lea, MN. He passed away on July 8th 2018 at his home on the Family farm. Allan worked and lived his entire life on the Jensen Family Farm where he grew up. Allan and his loving wife of 50 years, Darline raised 2 beautiful daughters on that farm along with corn, beans, oats, alfalfa, beef cows and, up until 1988, dairy cows. Allan drove milk truck for the Clarks Grove Creamery for several years until it ceased operations in 1995. Allan enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his four-wheeler, mowing lawn, listening to polka music, satisfying his sweet tooth, talking with his grandchildren and simply being on the farm. Allan was preceded in death by: his parents, Merrill and Lily Jensen; his brother Elwood Jensen; his brother-in-law Duane Morreim, and son-in-law Daniel Halling. Allan will be remembered by: His loving wife Darline; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Bryan Brighton (Plainview, MN) and their children Aurie, Keegan and Hope; Judy and Thomas Jensen (Clarks Grove, MN) and his children Rachel and Sam; siblings Millie Jensen (Elwood), Joyce and husband Burt Halvorson, twin brother Adrian Jensen, Janice Morreim (Duane), Dennis and wife Mary Jensen, as well as nieces and nephews.
