Funeral services for Alice Mae Dolph of Albert Lea, MN will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel. Pastor Vern Harris will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Shady Oak Cemetery.
Alice died on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at her home in Albert Lea. She was 93 years of age.
Alice was born December 30, 1919 near Oelwein, Iowa, the daughter of David and Alice (Foley) Dallenbach. She graduated high school in Iowa and on October 28, 1943 was united in marriage to Marion Dolph at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.
She made her home in Freeborn County since 1951 and enjoyed flowers, gardening and caring for her cats.
Alice is survived by her children Melvin (Julie) Dolph of Albert Lea, MN, Eloise Hunt of Hayward, MN, Don (Pat) Dolph of Lake Mills, WI, Darwin (Mary) Dolph of Hayward, MN, Leta Dolph of Adams, MN, and Duane Dolph of CA.
There are 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marion in 2007, brothers and sisters.
