Adeline died on Monday, December 16, 2013 at the age of 101. Adeline was a strong and independent person and lived in her own home until a few short weeks ago, when she entered ThorneCrest Retirement Community. She was born on February 28, 1912, in Waseca, Minnesota. She was one of eight children born to Herman and Marie( Wilken) Klinger. Her family lived on a farm in rural Waseca. Her mother Marie died when she was 6, and her older sister Clara, with the help of other relatives, kept the family together. She was united in marriage to Severt R. Enderson on July 12, 1936, and they made their home in Albert Lea. She was the neighborhood "haircutter and stylist", and even after they moved away, many came back to Adeline for her special treatment. She was a faithful member of Salem Lutheran Church. She especially enjoyed church circle activities. Adeline and Severt enjoyed camping and traveling on short trips, especially after retirement. In her earlier years, she did a lot of handi-work, but her failing eyesight later made it difficult. Many will remember the soft spot Adeline had for animals, she always seemed to have a stray
she was tending to, with lots of tender loving care.
