A. Frisk

The funeral service for A. Eldora Frisk will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 30, 2005 at Vista Lutheran Church, rural New Richland, MN. The Reverend Charles Espe and Intern Cary Larson will officiate. Burial will be in Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Sunday at Friedrich Funeral Home in New Richland and one hour before the service at the church.



Eldora died on Thursday, May 26, 2005 at New Richland Care Center where she had lived for 8 A� years. She was 98 years old.



Eldora was born in Waseca County, MN on June 17, 1906, the daughter of Otto C. and Anna (Peterson) Johnson. She was a life time resident of the Vista area and attended District #48 school in Waseca County.



On March 19, 1932 Eldora was united in marriage with Hugo Frisk in Vista Lutheran Church. She was an active member of Vista Lutheran Church and had served as Sunday School Superintendent for many years and was a member of the women?s groups. She was a 4-H leader and a home extension member for many years. She did volunteer work at New Richland Care Center before going there to live.



Eldora enjoyed flower gardening, reading and handwork: sewing, crocheting, and quilting until the time she went into the Care Center.



Eldora is survived by five children: Genevieve (Roger) Long of Deary, Idaho, Carolyn (Hollis) Rademacher of Lake Forest, IL, Joan Proehl of New Richland, MN, Judy (Steve) Radjenovich of Alexandria, MN, Bob (Kathy) Frisk of New Richland, MN; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Helen Frisk Kruger of Waseca, MN; and many nieces and nephews.



She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hugo in 1979; son-in-law, Bob Proehl; one sister, Esther Johnson.
